Director of Culture & Marketing

Laura has been with The Monitor Group since 2016 and is the founder of the national Financial Marketing Mastermind, established in 2023, which boasts members from coast to coast. She oversees marketing, events, and office management while also running two philanthropic programs – one local and one national.

Before joining the financial industry, Laura accrued over 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur, starting and managing several successful businesses in the Washington, DC area. With a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Virginia Tech, Laura understands the importance of details and service.

Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She is also passionate about volunteering hundreds of hours each year with various local non-profit organizations that focus on homelessness, hunger, children, domestic abuse, and entrepreneurship. Her commitment to helping people extends to holding positions in numerous nonprofit organizations, including her current role as Vice President for the Personal Care Foundation.
