Laura is the Director of Culture and Marketing at The Monitor Group, where she has been a key leader since 2016. She oversees marketing strategy, event planning, office management, and a philanthropic program that reflects the firm’s commitment to community engagement.
In addition to her primary role, Laura founded the national Financial Marketing Masterminds in 2023—an initiative that connects financial marketing professionals from coast to coast to share ideas and elevate industry standards.
Before entering the financial industry, Laura spent over 20 years as a serial entrepreneur in Washington, DC, launching and managing several successful businesses. She holds a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Virginia Tech, which honed her eye for detail and commitment to exceptional service.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She also volunteers extensively with local nonprofit organizations focused on homelessness, hunger, children, domestic abuse, and entrepreneurship.
